Take a minute and think about all of the times you let other people’s thoughts dictate how you act. Although this behavior is common, living life by acting the way you think people want you to is no way to live. I encourage you to believe in yourself and stop basing your sense of self on what other people think. Live your best life. Focus on yourself and learn that you don’t need to please other people in order to please yourself. In this video, I share several of my techniques that can help you strip away your insecurities.

Hello Doctor,
I agree & disagree. I believe perception is the biggest disillusion of life. How much we or rather I have tried to be who I am, I was told that people are not perceiving you as a Leader or Manager or Counselor. What I agree is “yes we need to forget and live with what I am” however the disagreement is no matter how much you try people’s perception will definitely change your behavior or change your thoughts about your behavior. Either you have to supremely successful or a top executive where people believe that that is the only way. Then there are other people always tell you what is right or wrong.
We are born twice – biologically & professionally. That’s where the problem starts. In our childhood we were told not to lie or not use benefits to defame others. The first thing we do is to lie or use benefits to our favor. The best possible example I can think of is from the movie “Bruce Almighty” where Bruce after being endowed with God’s power he uses for his own benefits and when questioned he did not have any answer.
